MixVibes Cross DJ wont open after update

Recent update of Cross DJ ($29.99 version) will not open on my macbook. It gives an error message. It keeps saying Cross DJ quit unexpectedly and doesnt allow it to open even when the reopen option is chosen. This is disappointing.
